About Leah Rifkin
Leah Rifkin began her directing and producing career in 2013 in the digital space and directed two seasons of Out Of Frame, an award-winning edutainment web series for kids. She has produced over 150 hours of content across platforms and genres which has earned hundreds of millions of views.
Leah’s film directorial debut was in 2017 with the short film, A Last Wish. She was the director of the short film, Dinner With Bernice, which was an Official Selection in the 2018 Toronto Shorts International Film Festival. Another career highlight is Revolution 10, a film which she co-created and for which the screenplay was an Official Selection in the 2017 Beverly Hills Film Festival Screenplay Competition. Last year her and her creative partner, Sonja, were runners-up for the Junior Entertainment Talent Slate Initiative. In 2019, she was a finalist in the Netflix-Banff Diversity of Voices Initiative, and won runner-up in Armoza Formats’ Formagination Pitch Competition at Realscreen West. She was once again a finalist this year.
Leah has written several products and lesson plans which are sold on this site, and she is a co-host on several episodes of the podcast, Unlocking The Best You. She is excited to share her love of media and the arts with parents and teachers.
